Funding of the "Peace Report" (2007 - 2016)
The peace Report is the most important publication of the german peace and conflict research that transports research results from the scientific community into the political practice and the public. The Peace Report is published by four research institutions:

Bonn International Center for Conversion (BICC)
Forschungsstätte der Evangelischen Studiengemeinschaft (FEST) Heidelberg
Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), Frankfurt a.M.
Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the university of Hamburg (IFSH)

Special program for structural funding and youth development

In the years 2002 until 2006 the foundation funded a special program to support structural development and young researchers.
For this purpose all in all 5 Mio. Euro have been provided.
Within this program the foundation supports the development of master-degrees in peace and conflict research at german universities and enables the installment of endowed chairs and structured doctoral sponsorships at three locations. The funding program is completed by now.
