Foundation Council
The Foundation Council is composed of twelve members who are appointed by the founder – represented by the minister for education and research – for a period of four years. Statuory it consists of five scientists, four representatives of the federal government and three members of the parliament. Chair of the Foundation Council is Stefan Müller, Parliamentary State Secretary at the ministry for education and research.
The Foundation Council has the task to determine the general framework and the measures to fulfil the foundation goals. Additionally it surveilles the Executive Board.
