Therefore offers to support\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bundesstiftung-friedensforschung.de\/index.php\/22-details-english\/432-details-funding-options-research-projects\">research projects<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bundesstiftung-friedensforschung.de\/index.php\/22-details-english\/434-details-funding-options-conferences\">scientific workshops and conferences<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bundesstiftung-friedensforschung.de\/index.php\/22-details-english\/435-details-funding-options-transfer\">networking and knowledge transfer projects<\/a>\u00a0are available.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bundesstiftung-friedensforschung.de\/index.php\/22-details-english\/433-details-funding-options-exceptional-projects\">Exceptional projects<\/a>\u00a0are time-limited or geared towards special individual projects.<br \/>\nIn the years between 2001 and 2013 the foundation provided 15 Mio. Euro for the support of scientific projects. Hereby important impulses were given on different levels to further develop the scientific field:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0expansion pf the knowledge base and development of new fields of research<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0networking of the national research activities and strengthening of international cooperation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0support for young researchers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0support for multi- and interdisciplinary research cooperation<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0support for the transfer of research results in the political practice and the public<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0strengthening of the range of courses and teaching competences in the field of master degrees in peace and conflict studies<\/p>\n<p>Apart from very few exceptions, all funded projects can be associated with one of the thematic focuses that have emerged from the foundation\u2019s funding practice and experience:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0international law and international organization<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0violence and crisis prevention<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0intervention in violent conflicts<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0post-conflict in peacebuilding<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0disarmament and arms control<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0peace education<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0historical peace research<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0promotion of academic discourses and interdisciplinary cooperation<\/p>\n<p>The funding archive is based upon this thematic principle of order.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-243","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
