Negative list for project funding of the German Foundation for Peace Research

The DSF does not offer funding for applications for the following projects:

• Individual lectures and lecture series

• Lecture series

• Summer schools

• Student projects (e.g., Model United Nations)

• Excursions and educational trips

• Cultural events

• Study scholarships

• Doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships

• Printing costs for dissertations and academic publications

• Travel costs for conference participation

• Translation costs

The foundation only accepts project applications submitted by a domestic research institution. For research projects planned as collaborative projects with foreign partners, the DSF may only cover the domestic institution’s share of the costs.
