Where can you find important information?

• Funding Concept| The funding concept defines all relevant funding areas and formats. The underlying review and decision-making procedures can also be found in the policy document. An English version can be found here.
• Funding Areas| Applications for research funding can be submitted in three funding areas. We have compiled all the information for you in a compact format.
• Negative List | The DSF frequently receives funding requests that cannot be fulfilled. To anticipate this, we have compiled a list of projects that are ineligible for funding.
• Application | After the application documents have been formulated and compiled, they are submitted to us electronically using our form.
• Download Area | If funding is approved, the funded institutions and project leaders agree to accept the foundation’s regulations. To ensure nothing is forgotten in the initial phase of the project, guidelines for the various research formats have been compiled.
• FAQ| Many questions about the projects or the application process can be answered via our FAQ (in German and English). For any further questions, please contact us.

Where can you find funded projects?

The DSF supports peace and conflict research projects in Germany. You can get an initial impression of the diversity of our projects in the currently funded projects or in the funding archive.
