The Chair of the Foundation Board, Dr. Jens Brandenburg, former Parliamentary State Secretary, has resigned from his position as Chair and member of the Foundation Board, having retired from his positions at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Bundestag. His seat on the Foundation Board will remain vacant until a successor is appointed. The Deputy Chair will assume the Chair’s duties for the interim period.
